Kilindi
Kilindi offers a new concept in accommodation set in the picture-perfect stretch of Northern Zanzibar. A series of beautiful villas embrace cascading rain-water pools, lush tropical gardens, providing private spaces of rest, indulgence and well-being.
The pavillions are a unique 'Zanzibaroque' style, both artistic and functional, in keeping with the island's endemic social and historical culture, standing watch over the time-honoured Dhow Routes, along a crescent of coral-bright sand
Kalindi seek to make bold claims about sustainability and responsible resource management. The villa domes collect rainwater to circulate around the pools, waste water is cleaned in the solar-powered treatment plant and the 15 villas are spread across 52 acres, and 500 m beach front to ensure that the land is used ecologically.
Each Pavilion has rainwater pools, stained glass skylight and lounge. Alfresco dining, a falling water bar and pond deck all add to the magic of Kilindi. Facilities also include iPod decks, private cinema with DVD library, business centre with Wi-Fi. Activities include big game fishing.
