Kasaka River Lodge

Kasaka river Lodge Accomodation

Kasaka River Lodge consists of eight luxury tents and comfortable open-air public areas that are secluded among the native flora and optimise the gorgeous river views.

The Lower Zambezi River extends the length of the property and affords spectacular views. It is the only stretch on the 2,700km river where there are National Parks on both sides: the Lower Zambezi National Park in Zambia and the famed Mana Pools World Heritage Site in Zimbabwe.

Overhead walkways link chalets to the lodge on the "wildside" of the camp. The gardens around the Lodge are a colourful blend of indigenous plants with paths weaving from the chalets to the pool, dining and bar areas. Close sightings of buffalo, elephant and hippopotamus from the decks are frequent events at Kasaka River Lodge. Bird life is abundant around Kasaka River Lodge with over 300 species. Wilderness activities include game drives and game walks with armed wildlife scouts, river-based game viewing, island excursions and sundowners, painting safaris with renowned wildlife artist Rory McDougall, fishing and fly fishing. In addition, around 375 species of bird have been recorded in the vicinity of the Kasaka River Lodge.
