Zambia Honeymoon overview
Just because a Zambia holiday can boast "real Africa" bush camps in remote locations, this does not mean that it cannot do top-end luxury and very romantic camps and lodges for those looking for that extra special destination for their honeymoon or special once in a lifetime holiday.
The world famous Victoria Falls can be easily accessed from some wonderful suites and private houses right on the river, where private dinners can be arranged and private tours of the Falls. This could be combined with some exceptional game viewing (drives and/ or walks) in the South Luangwa National Park where you can stay in a luxurious marquee tent with indoor claw bath, and outside shower under the stars. Continue with some more game viewing in the Lower Zambezi where you can also do bush walks, canoeing, tiger fishing or you can just choose to have a massage and relax by the pool and watch the endless wildlife from camp in beautiful surroundings and scenery.
Couples seeking thrills will thoroughly enjoy the opportunities for flying, bungee jumping, kayaking and canoeing at Victoria Falls - for those wanting a honeymoon with adventure and wildlife based in areas of stunning wilderness, then Zambia is hard to beat.
12 days from £5,295 per person including fights.
When to go
Most visitors to Zambia come between June and October, when the land is drying out after the rains and animals are seeking out water, but the ‘emerald’ season, during the rains, can be great for birders and photographers.
This is only a suggested itinerary; we are able to offer various activities and accommodation options making Zambia very affordable.
