Bush Camping & Walking Safaris
For those wanting to get a more intimate feel of the bush and to really get out there into the wilderness you cannot beat Robin Pope Safaris walking safaris, whether it’s a two night bush camping experience in the Nsefu Sector of the South Luangwa National Park or a more remote 5 night mobile camping experience in the very north of the park, on the Mupamadazi River. The guiding on these walking safaris is the key to a memorable trip and Robin Pope Safaris are certainly the experts in this area – a truly bush experience, but with all the comforts of a permanent camp.
Nkwali Camp -Airy and cool rooms with open-air en suite bathrooms, made of woven bamboo and thatch. The dining area overlooks a small lagoon, which often attracts elephants and Bushbuck down to drink.
Tena Tena -One side of these comfortable tents can be rolled up during the day to watch a busy waterhole. In each a 'dressing room' separates the tent from the en-suite shower and toilet, which are open to the stars.
Nsefu -Each room has a clear view of the river, through large windows and from the new wooden verandah.
Robin's House - A private house ideal for families, honeymooners and guests looking for a little privacy.
Kawaza Village-For the more adventurous traveller, stay in a traditional village. Stay in huts, sleeping on grass mats and eating traditional dishes prepared on an open fire.
