Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp
Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp is a comfortable tented camp situated on a hillside with views towards the forest where the mountain gorillas reside. The camp is only one of two properties actually situated with Bwindi’s national Park boundaries. Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp is within walking distance of the point where visitors meet to start gorilla trekking. The camp itself is designed to blend in with its stunning natural surroundings.
A luxury tented camp with 8 double rooms, each with two queen sized beds, a private wooden deck and bathroom facilities that include a bathtub with view of the forest to relax in after gorilla trekking. There is a central dining and bar area and Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp has 240V power for lighting and recharging of video equipment. It also offers a bar and dining cottage overlooking the rain forest, as well as a raised natural platform for open air dining.
