Lamai Serengeti Camp

Lamai Serengeti Camp Mess Exterior
  • The most commanding vantage point for miles
  • The hub around which the Serengeti migration circulates
  • A lodge built to fit into its complex surroundings

Lamai Serengeti Camp is a beautiful new permanent camp located in the northern Serengeti. Set within the iconic rocks of Kogakuria Kopjes, it offers panoramic views out over the Mara River Valley and Lamai Wedge, just a few miles from where the wildebeest cross the Mara River.

There are just twelve rooms, split between two entirely separate lodges (the Main Camp consists of eight tents and the smaller Private Camp of four tents). All the tents have their own private and roomy verandas spread within the rocks and all have been sited with spectacular views and a very fresh and contemporary design. Each camp has its own private bar and dining area, with adjoining library and map room and its own natural rock swimming pool. All rooms have 24 hour power and en-suite bathrooms with hot and cold running water, flush toilets, inside bath and outdoor shower.

This lovely new camp offers the best vantage for the migration from August – October and possibly even some Mara river crossings. Activities offered include game drives, guided walks, bush picnics and sundowners.
