The Retreat Selous
The Retreat is a luxury safari camp situated in a most remote corner of the Selous Game Reserve, far away from other camps & lodges making it totally private and a real untouched African bush experience. Guest have a choice of accommodation. There are six standard hill tents with uninterupted views over the Selous Game Reserve and three private river suites on the banks of the Great Ruaha river, each with a private plunge pool and deck.
There is also a special honeymoon/family suite on a 200m2 platform with two separate tents, plunge pool and a roofed chill out area. For even more privacy there is the Private Hippo point camp with its own infinity pool, bar, dining and butler service. There are numerous activities available here from game drives, river cruises, fishing and camping on the shores of the river under the stars, Bush meals where freshly prepared food is cooked on an open fire are a highlight.
