The food is exquisite which is served at any time of day. Oyster Bay also has a lovely garden with a swimming pool and deck area. It is also within a secure walking distance of Oyster Bay shopping centre.
Its eight beautiful large, high-quality spacious rooms all overlook the ocean and are furnished in a contemporary, minimalist style with a touch of contemporary Africa. There is no lift but the view from the upper levels is certainly worth the exertion of getting there - and of course the ocean breezes are stronger the higher you go. The suites are furnished with either king sized or twin beds and have lounge furnishing as well as writing desks and plasma screen televisions. The en-suite bathrooms are open plan and contain a free-standing bath, walk through shower and enclosed toilet facility.
Furnished in the style of a private house with modern contemporary African décor, the lounges and dining areas flow out on to a covered verandah and to a gazebo to enjoy the space and contemporary designed garden.
The Oyster Bay Hotel is mainly used for clients who are either travelling out into the bush or onwards to Mozambique or returning from such. Located in the centre of the Oyster Bay area of Dar es Salaam the hotel faces the ocean. It is a fifteen minute drive from the centre of the city and thirty minutes from the airports (domestic and international).
