Tanzania has more land devoted to national parks and game reserves than any other wildlife destination, the most well known being the Serengeti, famed for its annual migrations of Wildebeest.

Cutting in from the north, the Great Rift Valley divides the country from north to south, creating a fascinating string of lakes whose saline waters attract large numbers of flamingos during the breeding season.
