Karima Guest House
In the shadow of Jebel Barkal where the Nile River bends to flow from east to north, sits the oasis called Karima Guest House.
In a walled compound behind elaborately carved doors, you will find a haven in the desert. Each room is built from natural materials with high domed roofs, small coloured glass windows ensuring that the rooms stay sumptuously cool in the heat of the day. The rooms are very well lit with high spotlights, accessible reading lights and electric fans. The beds are comfortable and sprung and the cotton linen soft and fresh. The large bathrooms are a welcome surprise with well lit high mirrors, his and hers basins and a shower.
The highlight of the Guest House is the delicious food, with at least four courses being served for your evening meal, complete with homemade ice-cream.
