The Waterberg a small piece of wonder north of Johannesburg and very easily accessed but not always visited. Malaria free and only 3 hours drive from the big city, the Waterberg opens up like Pandora’s box and reveals a part of South Africa still seeped in old traditions where the land has changed little from times gone by.
Great monolithic rock outcrops are interspersed with open grassland plains and deep river gorges. Here you will find an array of activities to keep everyone busy as well as superb game viewing.
