Morokuru is well situated within the established Madikwe Game reserve which is famous for its prolific wild dog population. The Owner’s intention was to make Morukuru wonderfully relaxing retreat, beautifully elegant yet practical and comfortable. The emphasis at Morokuru is that you are always welcome and nothing is too much trouble.
At Morokuru they pride themselves on the fact that as a guest you complete a wish list prior to arrival and this list is fulfilled when you arrive. If you have a favourite jam with your breakfast, you can mention it on your wish list and they will supply it on your holiday. If you wish to sample the local cuisine, that too is offered with style and imagination. Activities include night and day game drives, children’s packages, bush walks and visits to the local communities with which Morukuru is very involved.
Morokuru offers three accommodation options but all are run with the same ethos, to offer a unique and tailored safari experience to suit your needs.
The Lodge – three independent suites for six adult guests and a children’s suite accommodation four children with an adjoining room offering children’s toys and entertainment.
The Owners House – Ultimate service and privacy with only two huge suites, this house is booked in its entirety with its own pool, staff and game tracking team.
The Farm house – Massive on all scales and situated away from the lodge and the Owners house, the Farm house boasts five presidential style suites, a beautiful communal area, heated pool, and a view over the wilderness. The newly renovated farm house is colonial and grand yet comfortable and inviting, offering the best private experience. Complete with doting staff, chef, game tracking team and that ever present wish list.
