Excellent game viewing opportunities, attention to detail, high standards of service, mouth-watering cuisine and a team of game rangers and trackers passionate about sharing their vast knowledge of the region ensure guest leave Leopard Hills as friends. Along with a host of memories that will last a lifetime.
The lodge offers several dining options from the main restaurant and deck set high above the watering hole, to the main bar and lounge. In addition, the lodge offers traditional dining in the atmospheric Boma complete with fire and traditional rustic African setting. Clients may also wish to enjoy dinner served in the privacy of their own suite. During long Summer days guest may be treated to a sumptuous breakfast surrounded by the smells and sounds that signal a new day dawning or on the long Summer nights, guests may be enticed by a hurricane lamp lit dining room in the bush surrounding a crackling fire.
Guests can partake in two game drives per day with our highly qualified rangers and trackers. Optional walking safaris are offered for those wishing to get up close to the smaller flora, fauna and species that may be missed during traditional game drives.
The lodge has a massage sala offering traditional treatments, an extensive library with internet facilities, a well stocked curio boutique offering traditional handicrafts and essential safari equipment and attire. In addition to the private plunge pools, there is a main swimming pool below the main dining room and deck with views out to the watering hole below. The lodge has a fully stocked wine cellar.
At Steppes Travel we have keenly followed the development of this lodge and we love the fact that the families who started it are still so involved.
