Situated in the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, Kings Camp faces an open savanna plain with a waterhole, which is frequented by a wide variety of wildlife by day and night.
With just 11 colonial suites, Kings Camp reflects the charm and romance of a Colonial past. A thatched viewing deck overlooking an active waterhole and an open plan lounge and bar are ideal to simply relax and soak up the tranquillity of the African bush. The spacious dining room offers beautiful views of the bushveld, while enjoying the sumptuous meals offered at Kings Camp.
Kings Camp offers private colonial suites and honeymoon suites with private plunge pools. Each luxury suite is sumptuously decorated in a truly colonial theme where re-claimed artifacts meet contemporary amenities and traditional authentic furnishing.
Bush dinners and breakfast can be arranged and may be offered subject to weather and light conditions – an experience of a lifetime, dining by lamplight deep in the heart of the African Bush far from light pollution and the hustle and bustle of mainstream life.
Two game drives are offered morning and afternoon, with optional walking safaris being offered just after breakfast. The lodge rangers and trackers are experts in their field and truly keen to impart their wealth of knowledge to any guests from experienced safari goers to first time visitors to Africa
Waterbuck Private Camp is separate from Kings Camp and available for the ultimate private safari experience. Waterbuck private camp is a 4 suite private villa with private gardens, swimming pool, viewing deck and boma. Waterbuck offers its own chef, butler, ranger, tracker and state of the art private game viewing vehicle.
Accommodating a maximum of 8 guests in the utmost luxury, Waterbuck Private lodge is an elite experience for the discerning guest where service, attention to detail, state of the art facilities and comfort are the norm. All meals and activities are tailored for the sole purpose of the guests and take place at Waterbuck, although guests are welcome to use the facilities at Kings Camp.
