Situated in a quiet cul-de-sak in the leafy suburb of Garden, Welgelegen is one of the smallest hotels we use in Cape Town.
Each of the thirteen individually decorated rooms are extremely comfortable and welcoming with local artworks on the wall, fine linens and individual style. The hotel's situation is one of its strongest points and it is suited towards going out. The dynamic Kloof Street is just around the corner with endless opportunities for shopping, diverse cuisine and local interaction, all in easy walking distance. One of the highlights of staying at Welgelegen is that you will always be an individual and service is centered on your needs.
We like this hotel because it is so well situated in Cape Town, it is stylish, service driven and great value. It is most popular with those looking for B&B type accommodation and less worried about outside space although the plunge pool is a welcome retreat on hot days. if you are looking for a relaxed and comfortable stay, if you are more interested in going out than staying in, Welgelegen is for you.
