In the heart of the city you will find an old building refurbished to grand status and an eclectic finish. Above the street level, on the roof top alongside the elevated and cool Sky Bar is the retro trailer park. Each silver bullet trailer has been individually decorated to reflect a fun time, including John and Yoko’s trailer compete with guitar and tambourine. There only seven trailers and it’s not for everyone but if it’s for you, the stylish suites and rooms are large and welcoming.
The Grand Daddy is under the stewardship of Jaci and Jan from Jacis camp and Cheetah Plains and they love to have fun. This hotel is family friendly and embracing. At Grand Daddy’s you can even be part of the arts by enjoying the cinema and the stage on the rooftop which often showcases the city’s fresh young talent.
We love The Grand Daddy as it’s just so funky and original! It’s not pretentious and is so happy in its own skin, letting you experience the real Cape Town and the best this vibrant city has to offer.
