Silhouette Island is a granitic island and is the third largest of the Seychelles Islands lying lies 20 kilometres northwest of Mahe. The islands landscape is very mountainous with five peaks over 500 meters in elevation, allowing some of the most dramatic scenery of the islands with the Seychelles archipelago. Silhouette Island is situated within a Marine National Park and is dedicated to environmental protection. It offers one of the most prosperous biodiversity hot-spots in the western Indian Ocean with many endemic and threatened plant and animal species.
Set against the dramatic background of rainforest covered mountains Labriz Seychelles Resort on Silhouette Island truly captures the essence of Seychelles. The luxurious Pavilions, 9 on the Beach and 8 in the gardens, each have a 6.5 x 3 metre pool, set in their own private garden. Flanking the villas, the separate small pavilion is ideal for en-suite spa treatments or a romantic dinner. A large bathtub offers ample space for a shared bath for two. There are also 60 beach villas at Labriz Silhouette allowing guests to walk onto Silhouette's white sand beach, six of which have their own private pool, and 28 Garden Villas set in the lush gardens.
Labriz Silhouette's spa is built in steps on the mountainside among granite boulders and a wide range of activities including world class diving (PADI 5 star dive centre), fitness centre, tennis court, snorkelling excursions, big game fishing, mountain walks with resident naturalist and marine biologist, trips to the Giant Tortoise Sanctuary, non-motorised water sports and sailing are some of the special features of the resort.
