Desroches Island Resort
The island of Desroches lies about 250 kilometres south of Mahe Island in the Seychelles. The island itself is a coral island of only five kilometres in length and one kilometre in width, its stunning white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters are fringed with palm trees. The Desroches Island Resort is the only accommodation on the island offering complete unrestricted access of the surrounding sand, sea and coral reefs.
The Desroches Island Resort has 20 suites, each is equipped with king-size beds, air conditioning and all the other little luxuries that you would expect from a four star lodge. Each suite has a private terrace and spacious en suite bathroom with an outside shower. There are two restaurants at Desroches Island Resort, one on the beach so you can enjoy your meal with your feet in the sand. Both restaurants offer Creole, French and European cuisine enhanced with local spices and flavours. The buffets are served in the open dining room surrounded by the resort's tropical garden, while the beach restaurant offers an alternative and informal atmosphere.
