Garden Villas ideal for families
I have always favoured La Digue as it is small and charming with a laid back feel. Le Domaine de L’Orangeraie is a new resort on this wonderful little island. The resort is reasonably small, with only 45 villas spread amongst the lush tropical vegetation. Four restaurants and bars allow for variety in cuisine and the Eden Rock Spa offers a full service from hairdressing to Hammam.
The Garden Villas: There are ten of these situated in the exotic garden setting and these are ideal for families. Arranged over two floors, the garden villas are decorated with local materials and boast a spacious air conditioned ensuite bedroom for two or a family, a lounge, private verandah and fully fitted kitchen.
Villas de Charme: There are thirty one of these, dotted in different locations around the resort and ideally created for couples. The bathroom is outdoors and partly covered by a thatch roof overlooking the tropical surroundings.
Villas de Charme Elegance: Only three of these villas adorn the resort and are situated in prime locations. Here you will find luxury and sanctity in a larger villa with an outdoor whirlpool and hot tub.
The Presidential Villa: Situated above all and overlooking the ocean, the Presidential Villa offers generous living space with three ensuite bedrooms, a spacious living room, two dressing rooms, a kitchenette and a large deck with private swimming pool and Jacuzzi, flanked by an outdoor dining area and lounge. This is ideal for larger groups or those looking for the best in private luxury.
