Fregate Island
Fregate Island or sometimes Frigate Island is the easternmost island of the granitic Inner Islands of the Seychelles, situated 55 kilometres east of Mahe. Primarily known as a secluded, private luxury resort and its Anse Victorin beach has been voted "The World's Best Beach" by The Times. The island is covered with a varity of natural plant life such as takamaka, cashew and Indian almond trees, it is also home to the rare Seychelles Magpie Robin as well as several relocated Aldabra Giant Tortoises.
No other hotels exist on the island, so the island remains an exclusive and private refuge for Fregate Island guests only.
