Onguma Tented Camp
Onguma Tented Camp is located in the vast Onguma Game Reserve which boasts over thirty different species of animal life and consists mainly of plains game including kudu, giraffe, eland, zebra, and impala and amongst many others. The camp itself offers a mixture sophistication and relaxation. In the local Herero language, Onguma means, "the place you don't want to leave."
The camp aims to create an atmosphere which blends in with the natural surroundings by using textures such as suede, linen and stone in its design. This is incorporated into the camps seven beautifully decorated private tents. The other facilities at the camp include a sumptuous dining area and a relaxing lounge area where days can be spent watching the local wildlife go by their daily routine. There is also a rim flow pool, a perfect place to cool off on the warm African days.
The wide selection of the camps surrounding nature lends itself to activities focused around the idea of relaxation and rejuvenation. If further exploration of Etosha National Park is requested this can also be arranged by wither walking safaris or game drives.
