Wolwedans Dune Camp
Wolwedans Dune Camp is located in the wildlife rich NamibRand Nature Reserve, on the edge of a 250-metre high sand dune and is ideally suited for the more adventurous African traveller, lies in its tranquil and intimate atmosphere, capturing the romance of a bygone era.
The Dune Camp consists of six comfortable dome-shaped tents pitched on wooden platforms in a totally un-spoilt setting. Each of the tents is furnished with standard beds, covered with down duvets, bedside tables and a suitcase rack. The tents all have their own private en suite bathroom with a hot shower, two washbasins and flush toilet and a spacious veranda, allowing for safe sleep-outs under the stars. The main area at the camp comprises of a lounge, dining area and an open-plan kitchen. The sun-downer deck area has an elevated fireplace and is the central meeting point of the camp providing a cosy and relaxed ambience.
Activities offered from the camp include further exploration of the NamibRand Nature Reserve by walking and 4x4 safaris.
