Marlin Lodge
Marlin Lodge is located on the south western shore of Benguerra Island, in the heart of Mozambique, amidst pristine island shorelines, idyllic dhow sails and achingly beautiful sunsets. Built on elevated wooden stilts, the Lodge overlooks the tranquil Flamingo bay. From sand dunes to freshwater lakes and acacia woodlands, Benguerra Island is a diverse ecological gem. While nature's finest marine-life swim veiled below the surface of opaque waters, upward the skies are alighted by beautiful birdlife. Marlin Lodge is settled peacefully within its environment like an oasis in perfect harmony with its unscathed surroundings.
Accommodation at Marlin Lodge is in fourteen exceptional sea facing chalets only a few steps from the white sands of the Flamingo Bay beach. Each of the luxury beach chalets have private veranda's, a perfect location for a private dinner for two or just taking in the magnificent surroundings Benguerra Island has to offer. The inside of the chalets are constructed with sophisticated designed finishes, including slated flooring, plastered surfaces and soft lighting featuring en suite bathrooms, roof fans, air-conditioning and four poster beds. The Executive Beach suite's sheer size is what makes them so breathtaking. Boasting a massive floor space, and a veranda, the room is a perfect haven for the discerning traveller. Similar to the luxury Beach Suites, the inside is constructed with more sophisticated finishes such as slated flooring, plastered surfaces and soft lighting. The three Suites available all feature en suite bathrooms with double basins, separate vanity area and shower along with air-conditioning, king size four-poster bed with mosquito netting, two seating lounges and a private veranda with deck chairs, hammock and a private walkway to the beach.
