Azura
Azura retreat is situated in the pristine beauty of a National Park which offers deserted beaches, crystal blue waters and swaying palm trees, making it the perfect island escape. The aim of the Azura is to create one of the first luxury eco boutique retreats which means it was completely built by the local community and uses local material to create a true haven.
The retreat has fourteen hand built luxury villas which are a blend of modern chic with the added touch of traditional Mozambique artwork. The villas all offer the traditional luxurious comforts such as air conditioning, private en suite bathroom with his and hers showers and an exquisite king size bed. Each villa is just footsteps from the beach but is designed with complete isolation in mind. The retreat also has a Spa which is like no other. It is nestled into the dunes and at one with the natural environment. The treatments offered are based on local traditions and ingredients.
The activities offered at Azura are all based around enjoying the luxurious surroundings, Laze in the sun, or walk the miles of beach, gaze at the dunes, or climb them. Swim with dolphins or learn about them. Watch the dhows sail by, or see the sun set from one. Fish for big game fish, or help the fishermen by eating their catch.
