Safari Beach Lodge Swimming pool Safari Beach Lodge Family gazebo balcony

Safari Beach Lodge is situated inside the Senga Bay Forest Reserve on the shores of Lake Malawi, just a one and half hour's drive from Lilongwe. The Lodge has its own private beach and it is the ideal place to relax and take in your surroundings at the lakeside. Due to its location inside the forest reserve, it is a paradise for bird watching along with other wildlife spotting opportunities including monkeys, genet cats, hyrax and small antelopes.

The Lodge has six isolated safari style chalets, built from local natural material and which are on each mounted on wooden platforms offering stunning views of Lake Malawi and the surrounding area. The Lodge also offers four beautifully decorated double rooms. Both the mounted chalets and the double rooms have their own private bathroom with electricity and warm water, the rooms also have air conditioning. The Lodge’s restaurant has a huge veranda with incredible views of the garden, swimming pool and the lake and its international menu focuses on the local cuisine including fresh fish from the Lake Malawi itself.

The range of activities on offer at Safari Beach Lodge is vast, but mainly centres on exploration of Lake Malawi and all it has to offer. Swimming, paddling, snorkelling or canoeing are all offered. Along with simply lazing on the private beach and enjoying the beautiful views of the bay with its spectacular sunsets and its local fishermen in their wooden dugout canoes.
