Jackie Pearson visited Malawi and instantly fell in love with this beautiful country. It is an unspoilt paradise with friendly people and beautiful landscapes. She has visited Lilongwe, Nyika Plateau, the western shore and Likoma Island.
Malawi is situated in southeast Africa and is bordered by Zambia, separated from Tanzania and Mozambique by Lake Malawi. It is a beautiful and relatively unexplored wilderness, home to Lake Malawi, which covers one fifth of the country. It is more like an inland sea; with inviting long, sweeping beaches and crystal clear blue waters with an incredible variety of colourful fish. The parks surrounding it support large numbers of exotic wildlife and bird species.
On dry land, Malawi offers several national parks and game reserves, affirming Malawi’s dedication to conservation and ensuring a diverse and raw safari experience. Other than Malawi’s vast bird life, wildlife and breathtaking scenery, the people of Malawi exude warmth and friendliness, ensuring you are able to get a sense of, and enjoy everyday life in Malawi.
