Tsarabanjina
Constance Lodge Tsarabanjina has been developed on one of the uninhabited islands, a paradise in the Mitsio Archipelago. The lodge exemplifies the term ‘barefoot luxury’, the twenty-two hectare island is small but offers lush vegetation and crystal clear water and provides a wonderful setting for an off the beaten track Madagascan rejuvination.
Accomodation at the lodge comprises of twenty five uniquely designed thatched bungalows situated under trees on the edge of the beach. The tastefully decorated chalets provide spacious en suite facilities with a separate toilet and a hot shower along with a bedroom equipped with fans and a private veranda with deck chairs, a coffee table and a hammock which rests in the corner capturing the cool sea breeze. The main facilities at Tsarabanjina are situated on a separate beach, with the raised dining room providing a wonderful viewing platform for the magnificent sunsets. The soft beach-sand floor of the lounge and bar creates an informal "barefoot luxury" atmosphere.
Activities available from the lodge are mainly water focused, including windsurfing, snorkeling and fishing. There is also outstanding diving in the coral reefs of the Mitsio Islands and the lodge has a PADI dive centre.
