Kinondo Kwetu
Kinondo Kwetu is a small, all-inclusive luxury resort owned and operated by a Swedish family, beyond the accommodation, food and amenities you would expect, it also offers the luxury of peace and quiet.
The resort is situated on the south coast of Kenya, 1½ hours ride south from Mombasa, on the beach of the Indian Ocean or there are now daily flights from Nairobi and the Masai Mara that take you to Ukunda airstrip which is only 30 minutes away. With room for no more than 38 guests, you will always find your own private spot at Kinondo Kwetu, which makes it a very special hideaway for honeymooners.
It is also the perfect place to gather family or friends for a holiday as there is plenty to do to keep everyone happy and they have some interleading rooms which are ideal for young families. On the grounds, you find two pools, one of them with a depth that allows training for PADI diving certificate, horses, a tennis court and a great massage room on the coral cliff. Kinondo Kwetu’s dhow and outriggers are out on the water, waiting to take you sailing and there are plenty of fishing rods and kayaks.
Kinondo Kwetu and its operation are working in harmony with the village Kinondo and its inhabitants, many of which are working at the hotel. In order to facilitate the life of the villagers they have also founded Kinondo Kwetu Foundation.
