Ol Donyo Lodge lies in the foothills of the Chyulu Range, halfway between Tsavo and Amboseli National Parks. The owners have a concession on 300,000 acres of communal Maasai owned land, which is also part of the Amboseli eco-system.
Ol Donyo Lodge accomodation comprises of ten luxurious guest suites in six stand-alone lodges, built of local materials with spectacular views of Mt Kilimanjaro. Two of the lodges have an additional bedroom for guests with children. Each of the suites and lodges has a private en suite bathroom, and the electricity and hot water is generated by a solar system with wood burning stoves as back up. All of bedrooms at the lodge also have rooftop star-beds and sun-downer area offering dramatic views over the endless Kenyan plains.
Ol Donyo Lodge is situated on private Maasai owned land. Giving the opportunity for cultural interaction, horse riding, open-vehicle game drives, night game drives and walking. Walking and riding safaris using a mobile tented camp can also be arranged.
