Ngong House
The beautiful, luxurious and romantic Ngong House gives the impression of an African Bush camp, but is only a short drive away from downtown Nairobi. The imaginative wooden double-storey tree houses face the distinctive Ngong Hills and offer magnificent panoramic views.
Accomodation at the house comprises of five spacious thatched tree houses which are well spaced and hidden from one another by plenty of natural bush. One of the tree houses is lower and requires less climbing. Another is suitable for families as it can accommodate two extra beds. The tree houses are named for the four points on the compass and are decorated accordingly. They all have grass roofs made in the traditional African way and are designed with comfort in mind, each comprises of a large four poster beds and an upper level living room area decked out with the finest hand woven rugs, bedcovers, lamps and stained glass. The main facilities at the house include a dining area and a fully stocked bar. The food is excellent and is prepared by the owners with great attention to detail.
When staying at Ngong House there are a selection of activities available from wandering around the vast ten acre gardens, to relaxing and soaking up the Kenyan sunshine at the swimming pool.
