Murulle Omo Lodge
The Murulle Omo Lodge has a fabulous setting right on the banks of the Omo river, one of Ethiopia's greatest rivers. The Murulle Omo lodge accommodates up to 16 guests in 8 simple, comfortable bungalows all with en-suite bathrooms. Each bungalow has a large airy verandah from where guests can enjoy the views over the Omo and hear the bird calls in the tree canopy above the lodge. Fish eagles, colobus monkeys and troops of baboons are often seen in and around the lodge.
The lodge also has a well stocked garden and produces delicious fresh fruit and vegetables for the lodge kitchen. Meals are served in the main lodge with more uninterupted views. Special arrangements can be made for guided nature walks on the mountains and plains, river fishing on the banks of the Omo, cultural village excursions and market visits.
