Vumbura Plains camp
Vumbura Plains Camp borders the Moremi Wildlife Reserve and is situated in a private concession in the infamous Okavango Delta.
The camp comprises of two smaller camps, each accommodating 14 guests.
Vumbura Plains South has six twin bedded and one double tent and Vumbura Plains North has four twin bedded, one double and two family tents. The luxuriously designed rooms at the camps are raised up from the ground on wooden decks. Each room has a large, very comfortable bedroom with a separate lounge area and and en suite bathroom with an indoor and outdoor shower. Each of the rooms has the added luxury of a private plunge pool and 'sala' area, which offers the perfect opportunity to relax whilst watching the waving grasses of the floodplain.
The main dining, lounge and bar area is also raised off the ground and tucked beneath a canopy of shady, indigenous trees with a wonderful vista across the floodplains.
Game drives (day and night drives) are conducted in open 4x4 Land Rovers and other activities include walking safaris, birding, fishing, mokoro excursions, motor boat excursions and fishing (on a catch and release basis).
