Deloraine Deloraine

Deloraine Deloraine riding
Built in 1920 by Lord Francis Scott, Deloraine is a true example of colonial architecture. The house is set on a 5,000-acre farm below Mount Londiani in the Great Rift Valley. Hosted by Tristan and Cindy Voorspuy, the house is set in stunning gardens with a tennis court, croquet lawn and swimming pool. At Deloraine there are 3 double rooms with their own bathrooms in the main house with 2 extra rooms for families that have to share bathrooms if we have more than 12 guests staying.

There are 3 double rooms with their own bathrooms in the cottage adjacent to the house.

All meals at Deloraine are taken in the dining room and guests are expected to be part of the family in a house party atmosphere. There are small children and dogs in the family too. There are forty or so horses on the farm and although some are used for safaris, there are always plenty of polo ponies to ride - the farm and the mountain providing more than adequate countryside to explore.
