With a maximum of eight guests permitted at any one time, Cousine Island offers an exceptional opportunity to enjoy the natural world as part of your own private paradise. Here you'll find natural beauty and exclusive creature comforts in equal measure. Against a lush green backdrop of vegetation unfolds a one-kilometre beach of breathtaking beauty. Visit between November and March and you can see the Hawksbill turtles ambling ashore to lay their eggs. 14 of the world's 70 remaining Magpie Robins are also found here, not to mention countless other superb examples of the region's birdlife, flora and fauna. Excursions and guided tours can be arranged, hosted by the island's conservation officer.
Accommodation at Cousine Island is of the highest standard: four large air-conditioned villas, each in a private position near the beach - affording the most amazing views out over the white sands and turquoise waters to the nearby, Praslin and Aride islands. The main pavilion at Cousine Island Lodge, overlooks the freshwater swimming pool and houses the bar, restaurant and library. Also on hand is your own private butler service, ready to prepare meals in your chalet, barbecues, or picnics for your treks around the island.
