The Clipper Adventurer is the sister-ship of Lyubov Orlova, built in 1975. It underwent a $13 million conversion in 1998. She has a proud reputation as a well-appointed, elegant expedition ship for softer adventures. The ship is equipped with Zodiacs for shore landings and ocean level cruising, yet offers fine dining, and the 61 outside cabins have exterior views with en suite facilities. The vessel is equipped with state-of-the-art satellite navigation and communication equipment including telephone, fax and e-mail.
The Clipper adventurer has a window-lined dining room, lounge, presentation room, 2 bars, gift shop, massage therapist, clinic with licensed doctor, library and an exercise room. Historians and naturalists will be on board the Clipper Adventurer to explain the cultural and natural history of the places you visit, and to enhance your enjoyment and appreciation of these destinations. There is a maximum of 122 guests allowed on the ship and 72 staff and crew on board, who are all willing to make you journey enjoyable and memorable.
