Situated on the same island as its sister camp Chitabe, Chitabe Trails is a very comfortable tented camp consisting of five spacious and luxuriously appointed East African style tents. Each have en-suite facilities with flush toilets, and a shower and basin with hot and cold running water as well as an outdoor shower.

Unlike its sister camp the rooms at Chitabe Trails are built on the ground. There is a dining area, lounge and bar with superb views overlooking the surrounding flood plains, and a small pool. Activities consist of game walks, and day and night game drives in open 4x4 vehicles accompanied by an experienced guide.

Chitabe Trails is a smaller version of Chitabe Camp and suits larger families or groups of travellers very well the intimacy of the smaller camp allows guests more privacy and independence.
