Within seven minutes of easy boating, approximately 3 kilometres east of Mahe, lies Cerf Island. Forming part of an enchanting necklace of islands around Victoria Bay and the first marine park in the Indian Ocean, the lush Cerf Island, approximately 1.7 kilometres long and 900metres wide, offers unforgettable swimming and snorkelling along its protected reef.
Cerf Island Lodge is the only lodge on the island, made up of 12 private luxurious lodges, all with modern facilities, there are three types of lodge, Timber, Hillside and Hideaway all situated within the natural elegance of the resort.
The larger, timber lodges have an en suite master bedroom, lounge, study room (that can be turned into a second bedroom) bathroom and a balcony. The Hillside and Hideaway lodges are smaller with a master bedroom and balcony plus a half open air bathroom with a double bath. All three offer the height of luxury and allow for both families and couples.
Cerf Island Lodge's authentically styled restaurant offers modern French and classic Creole dishes in a refined atmosphere with beautifully appointed tables. The second restaurant is more casual and overlooks the beach and the swimming pool and serves light lunches and snacks. There is a comprehensive variety of activities at Cerf Island Lodge, from kayaking and snorkelling to picnics and nature trails.
