The Cavas Wine Lodge is a cool and contemporary place designed by Buenos Aires architects Gonzalez Pondal Malenchini. It is situated 20 minutes from Mendoza, a lovely 19th century city with wide streets and open squares and is set in 14 hectares of vineyards with amazing views of the Andes. The lodge has 14 large apartments, with flat screen TV's, CD/DVD player, cordless phone and Wi-Fi, outside, each has its own plunge pool and patio.
The main lodge has a Spanish colonial feel, with a sitting room that leads out to the main pool, gym and Spa. There is a restaurant that serves Argentinean specialities to complement the exceptional, locally produced wines. The Lodge also has a fully stocked cellar with some of the best Argentinean wines.
If all this is not enough for you, there are many activities that can be arranged including horse riding, cycling and rafting as well as excursions to local vineyards.
