Casa Encantada, is a very attractive 10-room colonial style boutique hotel located right in the centre of beautiful Antigua. Lancaster Hotels (Victoria House, Belize) took over the colonial building last year in order to carry out extensive renovations of the rooms, garden, terrace and also add a small plunge pool. Now, recently opened (March 2004), the hotel oozes charm, comfort and the essential essence of Guatemala with local weavings hanging on the walls and traditional curios dotted throughout the rooms. There is a very pleasant garden patio with plunge pool, a roof terrace with café and excellent views of the Volcano Agua.
