Small Boat Cruising

The rugged coastline of British Columbia is over 25,725kms in length, marked by deep inlets and 40,000 islands clustered up the coastline.  For such a vast and often inaccessible region, small boat cruising is an ideal way to maximise your time and see the wildlife and landscapes of British Columbia.

Wildlife

The rich ecosystem of British Columbia is home to a plethora of wildlife including whales, orcas, dolphins, bears, moose, wolves, elk, eagles and more making it a wildlife hot spot. Observe humpback whales bubble feeding, schools of orcas hunting and bald eagles swooping for salmon as grizzly bears fish.

Yachts and Boats

There are a number of options, from small sailing yachts to converted tug boats.  Some have shared facilities others have private bathrooms with each cabin. The size varies as do the itineraries. Some yachts are for as little as eight passengers, others up to fourteen.  This region covers Vancouver Island, the Great Bear Rainforest and far as the Haida Gwaii Islands, also known as the Canadian Galapagos.

Activities

As well as shore landings and zodiac expeditions, many boats offer kayaking, snorkelling, fishing and some, such as the Pacific Yellow Fin have a range of toys on board including slides, doughnuts, water skiing, a water trampoline and heli-trips.
