This 18000 acre wilderness reserve boasts "one of the world's largest open-air art galleries" with more than 130 ancient San Bushmen rock art sites.

Bushmans Kloof is renowned for its stylish and contemporary country cuisine. The chef specialises in seasonal dishes with a touch of Cape heritage cooking, using organically grown farm produce, and fresh ingredients from the expansive walled vegetable, fruit and herb garden.

The Wilderness Reserve offers walking, mountain biking, river walks, canoeing and swimming in crystal clear natural rock pools, bird watching, rock art excursions, game viewing and sunset game drives in open 4x4 game vehicles.

It is the perfect environment for painting, photography, stargazing, picnics, reading and studying the history of the San and their famous rock art.
