Day 1Depart London on your overnight flight to Rio.
Day 2Arrive in
Rio, where life revolves around the beach and where people-watching is a joy!
Days 3-4Explore Rio and the surrounding area, football fans can visit Marcana stadium or have a football lesson on the beach! Play volley ball, hang-glide or take the cable car up to Sugarloaf Mountain! Take a schooner boat trip around the tropical islands and beaches where you will see parrots and hummingbirds. Alternatively learn to surf or even dance the Samba!
Day 5Fly from Rio to the
Pantanal/Amazon Rainforest and learn about the plants and animals of the jungle. Fish for piranha, have your face painted by the local Indians and learn about their culture and everyday lives.
Days 6-8Explore the rainforest and discover sloth, toucan, parrots and macaws, monkeys, capybara, caiman, giant otters, anaconda and a wonderful selection of colourful butterflies and insects.
Day 9Fly from
Pantanal to
Salvador and the golden beaches of the green coastline. Here you can laze under the palm trees; learn the martial art dance of Capoeira, visit the turtle sanctuary and perhaps see manatee.
Days 10-13Spend time enjoying the beach, fishing, snorkelling or choose from a huge variety of additional watersports.
Day 14Fly from Salvador to
Sao Paulo, then onwards on your overnight flight to the UK.
Day 15Arrive back in the UK.
The cost of the above itinerary is from £3,495 per adult (plus flight taxes) and £3,250 per child (under the age of 12 years). This price includes international and internal flights, all transfers and accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis (full board in the jungle lodge).
