Kalahari Lion

A lion’s roar has to be one of the most powerful and demanding of all wildlife calls, it is unmistakeable and to hear it in the middle of the night, in the Central Kalahari Game Reserve, is a huge privilege.

The Central Kalahari Game Reserve is vast and remote and the sheer expanse of this region is simply breathtaking. You will not find masses of wildlife, but neither will you find a tarred road or many other travellers! What you will find is the luxury of space, endless horizons and creatures such as bat-eared foxes, springbok, oryx, brown hyena and, if you are very fortunate, lion.
