Lemur

Madagascar is often referred to as a fascinating and unique destination and whilst I cannot agree more, there couldn’t be a better time to see what all the fuss is about. Wild Madagascar is a new television series due to be broadcast on BBC 2 and narrated by David Attenborough. Broadcast Dates are as follows:

Episode 1: "Island of Marvels", 8.00 - 9.00pm, BBC Two, Wed 9 Feb

Episode 2: "Lost Worlds" 8.00 - 9.00pm, BBC Two, Wed 16 Feb

Episode 3: "Land of Heat and Dust" 8.00 - 9.00pm, BBC Two, Wed 23 Feb

If you haven’t already seen the current (February 2011) edition of BBC Wildlife Magazine, this also includes a special feature on the ‘Red Island’.

If this programme inspires you to travel to Madagascar, we are able to assist you with either a tailormade journey option or a small group trip option where pre or post small group trip tailormade extensions are possible. Whether your interest lies in seeing the Avenue of Baobabs, spotting a fossa, finding the aptly named tomato frog,  or simply relaxing on a remote island, Madagascar will not disappoint.
