Gaucho, Argentina

Steppes Travel recently held a wonderful Argentina evening event at the Corinium Museum in Cirencester. Christabelle Dillks, author of the Footprint guides, gave an inspiring talk on her passion for undiscovered Argentina and left guests completely enthused for this wonderfully diverse Latin American country.

For those of you who couldn’t make the talk she focussed on off the beaten track Argentina such as the on the NorthWest, the soul of Argentina, Fincas in the winelands, Ibera wetlands Argentina’s version of the Pantanal, dinosaur remains in Ischigualasto, the majestic Lake District, wildlife of Peninsula Valdes and of course the famous Gaucho, cowboys of Estancias where one can ride.

In addition to the talk guests sampled some fabulous wines courtesy of Haynes, Hanson & Clark and courtesy of Cirencester Park Polo Club  they were some happy winners of Polo lessons including one by ex-polo captain  Jason Dixon.

Please contact Emma or Olie for a tailor-made trip to undiscovered Argentina.  Look out for further events including Polo at Cirencester Park during the summer call 01285 880980.
