Bird Island, perched on the edge of the Seychelles continental shelf is the most northerly island of the Seychelles Archipelago and is situated 60 miles from the main island of Mahé.

Bird Island Lodge consists of 24 simple but very comfortable individual chalets nestled amongst what remains of the island's old coconut plantation. Each has a king-sized bed, large shower room and separate toilet, lounge corner and spacious patio overlooking the gardens to the sea beyond.

The main complex at Bird Island Lodge incorporates reception, spacious lounge, bar and restaurant, a boutique and library. The restaurant serves Continental and English breakfasts, a Creole lunch and European Style dinner. Bird Island Lodge is keen to promote eco tourism and for this reason the Lodge is simple so as not to distract from the beauty of the landscape or interfere with the birds and wildlife that inhabit the island.
