Barefoot Cay is a privately owned 4-acre island centrally located on the south shore, just off the main road of Roatan.

Barefoot Cay has a dual personality - stand on its south shore and you feel like you are alone, and completely away from civilization. You see the sandy beach and reef out to the open sea and on a clear day, the mountains of mainland Honduras thirty miles away can be seen. Barefoot Cay is located safely behind the reef, so even on a blustery day, a small boat can be taken to restaurants, the grocery store, and other businesses of French Harbour.

It is positioned perfectly for the trade winds to create a tropical breeze over the entire cay. The reef is within swimming distance and the Cay's 500-foot-long sandy beach is your playground.
