Start your holidays to Argentina in Buenos Aires, the chic 'Paris of the South' and birthplace of tango. Savour the fantastic beef and delicious local wines while listening to the sensuous tango drift through the evening air.


From Buenos Aires head south, where the windswept steppes of Patagonia look out towards Antarctica. Here you will find Bariloche, one of the world's most beautiful and spectacular landscapes. In the west, the snow-capped peaks of the Andes separate Argentina from Chile and deliver massive glaciers into glassy lakes. Here too is the highest peak in the Americas, Aconcagua.


The north of Argentina is characterised by tropical forests, the majestic waterfalls of Iguazu with no fewer than 275 separate waterfalls, and the sun-baked cactus-studded deserts of Jujuy.

As expected with a country of its size, Argentina has distinct regions has slightly different climates, However, generally, Argentina is best visited between November and March.
