Irupe Lodge is a lovely Swiss-Argentine owned property located beside the small village of Colonia Carlos Pellegrini, a short distance from the renowned Ibera Marshes or wetlands.
The lodge offers eight rooms and one family suite, all with views to Ibera Lake from their panoramic windows.
Standard rooms have access to the living room, library and open-air veranda in the main building whilst the superior rooms have integrated living rooms and private balconies. The family suite is in the main building sleeping up to five people in two bedrooms.
Excursions on offer include boat and land safaris by day and night, bird watching, horse riding, hiking and canoeing. A visit to an estancia to learn about gaucho culture can also be arranged as can fly-fishing or even snorkelling amongst the piranhas in the lake!
