Fly British Airways to Lusaka then a short flight to Mfuwe to the South Luangwa and Robin Pope Safaris. Stay 7 nights enjoying a real bush experience. Marking the southern end of the Great Rift Valley, South Luangwa is the richest park in Zambia and possibly the finest wildlife sanctuary in Africa for scenery and variety of animals. Its 3,500 sq miles is unsurpassed and the Luangwa River, which meanders gently through it, enhances it even further. A combination of ox bow lakes, forest and plains are host to huge concentrations of game, while providing shelter to over 400 species of birds.

Then fly back to Lusaka and take a flight to Dar and then a short hop by charter flight to Ras Katani arriving in time for sundowners on the beach. Stay at Ras Katani for 5 nights.

Ras Kutani lies on an undeveloped Indian Ocean Beach, a four-kilometre crescent of white sand and gentle surf, cooled by the trade winds, surrounded by tropical forest replete with colobus monkeys, set adjacent to a fresh water lagoon. Ras Kutani is the perfect hideaway far from the maddening crowds, in which to relax after an exciting safari or just to unwind for a week or two. For those who prefer a more active stay there are facilities for sailing, windsurfing, snorkelling and fishing. You can take advantage of the empty beaches with long walks or explore the forests in search of the four different species of monkey.

Fly back to Dar for your connecting British Airways flight back to London.
